The Family No-Bake Fruit Pie Recipe
- 2 Bananas
- 24 oz (1.5 lb) Blueberries
- 16 oz Strawberries
- 1 can 15.5 oz Crushed Pineapple
- 1 Stick butter
- Graham Crackers (or similar, try Digestive Biscuits)
- Corn starch
Using a ziplock bag, crush about 1.5 cups – 2 cups of Graham crackers (depending on desired thickness). Spread in pie plate.
Melt butter and pour over crushed Graham crackers. Mix thoroughly and form Graham crackers to the side of the pie plate until even on all sides. Place in freezer for 20-30 minutes to let harden
Remove pie plate from freezer.
Thinly slice one layer of bananas to cover the Graham cracker crust on all sides.
Pour container of blueberries over bananas
Thinly slice strawberries and place over top of blueberries until fully covered
Heat Pineapple in a pan, wait until pineapple juices begin to bubble, then mix 2 tbsp corn starch with ice cold water and add to pot to thicken.
Pour thickened pineapple over top of strawberries in pie pan.
Refrigerate for at least an hour and serve. Serves 8
The pie crust may become soggy if kept for more than 2 days, so eat quickly or serve 8 people
Fresh fruit is always the best, I have had success replacing blueberries with raspberries and blackberries.
This is really a template to start from, mix any fruit together you feel would blend and give it a shot!
